Fear for the next generation of Horror lovers.

So much Horror to watch... so many terrible remakes of true Horror movies. 

I fear they don't have enough time to view it all.

No doubt! I watch probably 20 independent Horror flicks to very 1 Hollywood remake. The Indie flicks don't have to play by the MPAA rules and are highly motivated to make a name by being as original as possible, Not to mention going back to real FX. Some of Hollywoods High budget gore is just silly and cartoony.

Indie movie makers should spend the time to make real life SFX instead of in post. You have to consider every camera angle/lighting/player placement and timing with more detail. The idea of what a shot or scene should feel like comes across the screen with more realitly, bringing a slice of film back to the audience with a connection because it is real.

Thats a good point, there's no excuse either when there's sites out there where you can Buy soundbits that others capture, not to mention you can record your own and sell them through the site as well. It's like Shutterstock for audio.
